The Geneseo Public Library is your destination for information!

The mission of the Geneseo Public Library District is to provide materials and services to assist library district residents of all ages to obtain information for their professional, personal, educational, recreational, cultural and reference needs. The library provides timely access to a variety of materials relevant to and of general interest to the community it serves. We assist students of all ages in meeting educational objectives, emphasizing the pursuit of lifelong learning, promoting the enjoyment of reading, and providing outreach services.

Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 8:00pm, Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm, Sunday - Closed

Passes Available for Geneseo Residents

We have passes for Figge Art Gallery, Putnam Museum, and the Niabi Zoo. The Fun Bundle includes The Rock Island Botanical Gardens, Niabi Zoo, and Putnam Museum.

ATTENTION: Interlibrary Loan Patrons

It is the policy of PrairieCat that we must return any interlibrary loan that is not checked out after six days on the reserve shelf. Please make an effort to abide by this policy. After the six-day period, the item (or items) must return to the home library. Thanks for your cooperation.

New Kaleidiscope

A big blue kaleidoscope is visiting the library for viewing now. Artist Tom Chouteau, its creator, is the owner of Kaleidoscope Art Gallery and Gifts in Davenport.
