Labor Day – September 7, 2026

Veterans Day – November 11, 2026

Thanksgiving Day – November 26, 2026

Day after Thanksgiving – November 27, 2026

Christmas Day – December 25, 2026

New Year’s Eve – December 31, 2026

Winter Weather-Related Closings

The Geneseo Public Library will be closed when the Geneseo Schools are closed due to severe weather conditions. If the schools have a 2-hour delayed start, then we will have a 2-hour delayed start. If the schools are dismissed early due to the weather, then the library will close 2 hours after the Geneseo Schools early dismissal time.  If it is a Saturday and the weather service has issued a winter weather advisory, please call 944-6452 at the library before you venture out to see if we are open. Scheduled programs and meetings at the library will not be held if the library is closed.  We will also try to post closings to Channel 6 and Channel 8 news stations.
