Webpage: Deb Wyffels currently does the webpage. Ellen Moore is her backup. The board needs to determine how many hours per month is needed to do the webpage. Kim suggested asking Deb how many hours she needs. It was determined that Deb would be permitted 10 hours per month and Ellen would be permitted 5 hours per month.
Staff When a staff member retires, they can be hired back part time if they have an area of expertise and a unique skill set that is needed by the library and no current employee has such a skill set. For example, Jolene is hired part time as the library historian. Deb is hired part time as the webpage administrator. When a retiree with a necessary skill set is hired back to a part time position, this board has decided that they need to come in to work their hours when the library is open, and will not be issued a key.
Adjournment With no further matters before the board, the meeting ended at 7:52 p.m.
