Tim Pletkovich – Confessions of a Baseball Scout

At the age of fourteen, Tim Pletkovich was evaluating amateur free agent players for the Philadelphia Phillies. By age twenty-one, Tim had joined the Chicago Cubs, having become the nation’s youngest scout on the payroll of a major league team. It was a dream come true for the Geneseo native.

Join Tim Pletkovich on Monday, October 27 at 2 pm at the Geneseo Public Library as he discusses his life as a scout and what it was like working for the Cubs organization during the 1980s.
